“Vulovic Transport” company Ltd. from Kragujevac was founded on May 10, 2001 in Rekovac, with the road traffic passenger transportation as its core business. In the year 2003, at the competition, the company obtains a job for a passenger transportation in the city transportation of Kragujevac.
We participated at the competition for the city transportation of passengers in Belgrade within The Association of Private Carriers, where we succeeded in employing our four new vehicles, brand MAZ, Minsk, Belarus.
The purchase of these buses represented both, our first contact and first cooperation with MAZ factory. We have become the official dealer of MAZ factory for all its products on March 14, 2005.
At the beginning of September, in the year 2006 we signed a contract on truck assembly, brand MAZ in Kragujevac. By this contract, apart from Serbia, we have been entrusted with the following territories:Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia. With the purpose of sales increase in the mentioned markets, we have signed the Subdealer Contract with “Auto Gaz” company Ltd. from Croatia as well as with “Speed Montenegro “ company Ltd. from Montenegro.
According to already signed contract with Automotive Institute from Minsk, Vulovic Transport company Ltd. proceeds its truck production development predicted by the company’s production program.
The first vehicles of brand MAZ were assemblied in the Zastava Trucks factory sector, and subsequently, the assembly was performed in company’s own rented space. With the purchase of the production hall (2800 m2) with 1, 35 ha of land, in which the assembly commenced in 2008, our company has succeeded in providing its own truck assembly space.
Significant resources are being invested in both, the equipment and modernization of the purchased space. The resources are being invested in the construction and equipment of the following facilities as well:
-Filing station
-Vehicle safety inspection
-Auto wash
-Servicing
-Tire repair equipment
-Axle chassis alignment
-Vehicle painting facility
We are currently in the negotiations with MAZ factory on establishing of the joint company MAZ-Serbia in Kragujevac.
Professional team of experts organize, control and modernize the entire process of vehicle production, aftersales, as well as the course of the vehicle exploitation in the city transportation.
Further evidence of our successful cooperation with MAZ factory is the project of the first low-floor natural gas city bus. Vulovic Transport company, in cooperation with MAZ factory from Belarus, manufactured, as a joint project, the first low-floor natural gas city bus (CNG), in which each side may use its own trademark as a product brand. The first bus which was manufactured is MAZ 203CNG-S.
Apart from the production of the new natural gas bus, the repair of the secondhand buses which burn diesel fuel D2 is successfully performed as well as the installation of the device used for CNG gas, in the ratio 30:70 in favor of CNG gas.
On the promotion of these buses we signed a ten-year Contract on the machine set delivery, that is, the bus chassis from Belarus.
It will be regulated by the contract that MAZ factory imports all the components and equipment for the bus chassis installing from Serbia, which will have a positive impact on the export of our country.
Considering modern shape and design of the products, technical characteristics as well as the economic and ecological adequacy of these buses, it is realistic to expect a huge success in the bus realization in all markets entrusted to us by the contract, which are:Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, as well as some countries of the European Union such as Hungary, Austria, Slovenia and Italy.
Technical and technological solutions for this project are devised by our team of experts headed by M.A. Sasa Milojevic, in cooperation with the Military Technical Institute from Belgrade.On this project, we cooperated with the most famous world manufacturers of auto components such as Cummins (motor), Allison (gearbox), DYNETEK EUROPE Gmbh (gas tanks), Swagelok (valves and tubes), Weh (demonstration instruments), Severin (gas detection system).
The project realization will contribute to the reduction of the unemployment rate.
These buses are expected to be presently available for use on the streets of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, as well as in many other cities. It is also planned the natural gas powered truck production. The trucks will have wide range of applications in utilities, construction companies and many others transportation companies as well.

In the year 2003, Vulovic Transport company plied with nine buses on nine city lines, today its fleet comprises 22 buses and 19 lines in the city transportation.

In the year 2007, Vulovic transport company Ltd. actualized 59.941 city bus departures, out of planned 59.974, which represent plan realization percentage of 99, 94%.
In the year 2008, Vulovic Transport company Ltd. actualized 83.629 departures, out of planned 83.682, which represent plan realization percentage of 99, 94% as well.
Planned mileage
In the year 2007, it was planned for the city buses of the Vulovic Transport company to cross 745.538 km in all, and 99, 94% of the plan were actualized.
In the year 2008, out of planned 1.042.678, 70km, 1.042.008, 90km were actualized, which represent the total success rate of 99,94%.

In the year 2003, Vulovic Transport company had 45 employees, and today, with the expansion of both, city transportation lines and company’s activity, the number of employees has increased to 99.
